Beer Fest is this Weekend – Information on Parking, Travel and More

LITITZ BOROUGH – The 8th Annual Lititz Craft Beer Fest will be held on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th at TAIT (401 West Lincoln Avenue). The LBPD encourages everyone traveling in this area to be aware of increased amounts of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Motorists are urged to use caution, allow for extra travel time and plan their route accordingly.

One session will be held on each day, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The event includes live music playing on two stages, a range of food options and 150+ offerings to sample from more than 70 craft breweries. Last year, more than 6,000 people attended this event.

Here is some helpful information for those attending and those who may be traveling in the area. Most of this information comes from the Lititz Craft Beer webpage.

PARKING

  • Parking is available along the 400 Block of West Lincoln Avenue (parking restrictions that normally are in place in this block will not be enforced for the event). However, if you block a fire hydrant, driveway, or business access, or park anywhere along a painted curb, you may be ticketed and/or towed. No overnight parking is permitted.
  • Parking is also available at the Grace Church, 501 West Lincoln Avenue (intersection of West Lincoln Avenue and Arrowhead Drive).
  • Accessible (ADA) parking spaces will be reserved along the shoulder of West Lincoln Avenue near TAIT’s main entrance for those who have ADA placards or plates.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP LOCATIONS

  • A curbside drop-off area will be established just east of the accessible parking spaces near TAIT’s main entrance. For your safety, please remain on the sidewalk while walking to the entrance gate. We are encouraging the use of Grace Church’s covered portico as a rendezvous point for those who plan to be picked-up or who are waiting for an Uber/Lyft following the event. Using this location is safer than waiting along the side of W. Lincoln Avenue and will help to minimize congestion at the festival entrance.
