“The industry has not changed or evolved its ID card services for many years,” say Dan Boudreau, President of Everest Solutions. “Each year schools are offered basic plastic or paper ID cards that are often lost, especially by younger students. With our new service, schools can provide an electronic alternative that reduces everyone’s environmental footprint while lowering administrative overhead associated with printed ID cards. This is a real savings for all schools across Canada. We are excited to offer this unique partner service on a national scale.”

Innovative Thinking, Environmentally Responsible.

As a 100% owned and operated Canadian company, Everest Solutions provides the client photography industry a new service-focused offering built on modern technology platforms. This announcement demonstrates the company’s commitment to fostering positive change in the industry.

Providing the best quality, value and experience to its network of schools across Canada, Everest Solutions now offers:

  • School portrait, group and class photography

“Printing and managing physical ID cards has always been offered by school photography companies, but the industry has never really looked beyond the printed format,” say Arley MacKinnon, Everest Solutions VP of Operations. “With that service, schools have been left with the administrative overhead of managing physical cards. Now with our 100% Canadian-based service, Everest can offer a secure and custom electronic solution that will help reduce plastic waste. This is a win-win for everyone.”

With Digital IDs, all educational providers can reduce waste and plastic usage by removing physical ID cards from their systems and schools. Understanding that not all students have mobile device access, schools can still provide printed cards which Everest Solutions will provide as a free service. Extended features like remote photo upload for distance learners (students or parents) and powerful communication tools that broadcast messages to students, staff and parents via email and SMS text messaging completes the digital ID solution which will reduce the need for old, printed ID cards of any type.
