Teresa Giudice Shows Us Inside Her Beauty Bag
Teresa Giudice has a style that’s as iconic as she is — and much of that has to do with her longtime friend and makeup artist, Priscilla DiStasio. DiStasio has created countless glam looks for The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, giving her glowing reunion and interview makeup year after year. (Watch the video above to see the duo in action while they go through Teresa’s beauty bag.) But perhaps DiStasio’s most important job came on August 6, when she did Teresa’s bridal makeup for her wedding to Louis “Louie” Ruelas.
After the event, DiStasio took to Instagram to share all the details behind the look. Before applying any makeup, she prepped Teresa’s skin with Shhh!…it’s a secret! Glitter Collagen Gel Eye Pads, ERA Beauty Everyday Makeup Primer, Miami Gorgeous Vitamin C+Serum, and a product from Tatcha. Teresa’s face makeup consisted of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation and concealer, Laura Mercier setting powder, Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer, and a face palette by Scott Barnes. Blush from Jouer Cosmetics, Alexa Persico Cosmetics highlighter, Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer, and a Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder added the finishing touches.
Other key products included Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel, a Morphe brow pencil, eyeshadow palettes from Sigma Beauty and ColourPop Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown Moonstone eyeshadow, and falsies from Lilly Lashes. On her lips, Teresa wore Christian Audette Paradise Sueded Lip Liner, Christian Audette lipstick in Company Card, Rincon Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Pure, and Christian Audette lip gloss in Jardin de Paris.
Equally important was Teresa’s towering hairstyle complete with cascading curls, courtesy of Lucia Casazza. According to Page Six, Casazza revealed in an interview with Andy Cohen for his Sirius XM radio show that the style used more than 1,500 bobby pins and cost nearly $10,000 to complete (including a custom mesh piece featuring $7,000 worth of real human hair extensions). Casazza said that Teresa wanted her hair to be “over the top” — and she delivered.
