Triangle headliners: 46 upcoming events across the region through June

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – WRAL TechWire keeps tabs on the latest and greatest meetups, panels, workshops, conferences, application deadlines and all things happening in the entrepreneurial, technology and business communities in the Triangle and across North Carolina.

Following is a list of events coming up across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle area through the end of June. Many events will be held in person, as some organizers are returning to live events.

This monthly event convenes Durham-based startup founders and small business owners to connect for learning and support.

Raleigh Veterans In Residence Showcase

June 1, 6-8 p.m. @WeWork Raleigh

Participating in a nationwide event spanning 23 cities, Bunker Labs Raleigh-Durham will convene at WeWork to facilitate introductions and networking among local veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs.

Dolphin Tank: AgTech in the Triangle

June 1 @Alexandria Center for AgTech

The next local event in Springboard’s Dolphin Tank series is AgTech in the Triangle. Women entrepreneurs will pitch their products/services and receive constructive insights from investors and subject matter experts.

Application Deadline: NCDOR Business Recovery Grant Program

The North Carolina Department of Revenue is launching the second phase of its Business Recovery Grant Program, with revised eligibility requirements for businesses that didn’t meet the economic loss requirements for hospitality and reimbursement grants or were excluded in Phase 1 because they received funds from certain federal programs.

NC TECH’s Job Expo allows job seekers and employers to connect live via chat and video. Employers will host virtual booths describing employee benefits/perks, job vacancies and more. While the event mainly focuses on candidates seeking tech-related jobs and internships, many employers have openings in non-technical roles such as sales/marketing, finance and customer support.

Applications are live for RevTech Labs’ 14-week accelerator for post-revenue fintech and insurtech startups. Participants get access to a network of mentors, venture partners, and leading financial services and insurance firms. Though RevTech Labs is based in Charlotte, it seeks startups from across the U.S. and Canada for its 17th cohort.
